Ready (I Think)

I am happy to report that the newly renovated nursery is ready for occupancy! Our "birthing classes" instilled a renewed vigor to the ongoing remodeling/renovation effort at the house. I guess if you see enough women in the throws of birth you get the idea that it really could happen at any time now. M is, as of this Friday, about 37 weeks along and feeling every bit "full". I, too, am getting pumped up about the arrival of our new little person. Our good friends in Indiana just had their baby girl (2 weeks early) and we drove down there for some good lovin'. She's absolutely wonderful. Such a good and good looking little girl, Lydia Kaylee.
Well, my new small business is up and running...one more thing to fall behind on in the book keeping department. I have not balanced the check book (which I should be doing now, as I write this) in nearly 2 months. Well, as long as the bills are paid and we're not bouncing TOO many checks... Anyway, the service van is loaded and rolling. I had a full day of appointments last Friday and made some descent money doing it. www.onsite-auto.com There is a pretty significant learning curve involved in this business (in any business?) and I am glad to have the opportunity to carry that burden right now. When the baby comes, well, we'll see.
Tomorrow is another birthing class...date night. It is nice knowing M and I have one night together right now. Who knows what these last few weeks would be like if we weren't "forced" to slow down and spend some quality preparation time together.
Off to the checking account!
